Olive harvest

It has been a good year for olive harvest. After olive trees have flowered the fruit starts to develop and that´s when we go to pick them. Thanks to the sun on our plot the olive trees are on a cultivated field with little irrigation, letting the fruit ripen in the sun.

The harvest is done manually. After that we take the olives to the cooperative in Sóller. This year we received 90 liters of olive oil.

Every year it is a very nice tradition and a unique event. We invite our friends and guests to come help us with the harvest. This way you can experience an authentic tradition in plain nature and learn about the picking of the olives until the you hold the ready product in your hands. And we finish off with a barbecue.
